Yes I am 24 weeks! I can't believe how fast it's gone by. And yesterday we got to see our little baby, and SHE was sucking her thumb! Yes I said SHE, IT'S A GIRL! In case you hadn't heard. A few weeks ago we had an ultrasound and the tech guessed that it was girl but said she didn't wanna say for sure, so she said we should come back. (We've been going to an ultrasound school, so they've all been free!) This time a student did it and the teacher/doctor confirmed it is a girl. When I got home yesterday, I suddenly had the urge to shop at Target clearance. The weird thing was that I didn't like any of the girl stuff....I couldn't believe it, my eyes kept going to the boy stuff. Although I did end up getting some cute onesies. I'm sure the closer it gets, the more girly I'll get.
Also I guess you could say I've started nesting already?!? Is that weird? It seems so early. But today I wiped down all the doors, cleaned out/re-organized the hall closet, got rid of a ton of baby clothes, cleaned out/re-organized our bedroom closet, and did the laundry. Oh also for a while I've really been hating our couches. They are like a light tan color, and every spot shows up on them. So today I had it, they were just nasty! I've been debating whether or not I should have someone clean them, or just pull the covers off and wash them. So I went for it, I pulled them off and washed them, and they turned out so great! Now I love my couches again! They covers weren't hard to get back on, I couldn't believe I hadn't tried it sooner! I should have taken before/after pics...Oh well I'm sure they'll be nasty again some day. But it's good to know I can just throw them in the wash.
Here's the hall closet...so clean..we'll see how long that lasts.....
And here's our bedroom closet..That piece of furniture used to be in our room, but I moved it into the closet all by myself, yes it was heavy....I also cleaned it out for the new baby... I must say I love our closet now, I also hung hooks on the inside wall, so now all my necklace are organized as well...
Today I also moved our bed, I don't think Matt was too happy about it...not because he didn't like the placement, but because our bed is pretty heavy and I probably shouldn't be doing stuff like that. But I left the really heavy stuff for him, and I can't believe how much more room we have now! I'm gonna put pics up as soon as we get our blinds up, next Friday....I hope!
Matt had a fun day off on Monday, I kept him busy...For Christmas my mom got me a hammock, and we got it hung, and swung in it, and then it started raining so we had to take it down...but once the rain stops it will definitely be going back up! Matt also changed out the faucet in our bathroom, and I can't believe what a difference those little things make!
And I just thought this picture was cute, so I thought I'd share. I love my little Jacob!

Congrats! I heard you were having a girl, I'm so excited for you to have your piece of sassiness! Girls are so much fun!
I don't think it's too early to be nesting...I love the nesting stage, I actually do it all the time and I'm not even prego! Yesterday I cleaned the pantry and bathroom cabinets and I loved it! Good job on the couch cushions! I actually did that recently and was so scared they were going to be ruined, but they weren't and it's so nice to know they can be cleaned anytime! Have fun shopping for your girl!
I'm seriously already making a list of things that I'm making for my newest NIECE!!!!! I'm so excited! This should keep me busy for a while..... by the way, are you thinking any names or colors yet?
You're so cute pregnant. I want to come check out the nesting.
Yes Trisha we have name picked out..Lillian Claire :) but most likely we'll call her Lilly...and as for colors i'm thinking pink, brown and teal/turquoise....
