Getting so big!!

I can't believe Jacob is almost ten months! It seems like just yesterday he was still in my tummy!

just because...

Matt surprised me with flowers last night and no it wasn't my birthday or anything, it was just because. In case anyone was wondering he's a very good husband, and works so hard to take care of Jacob and me. We are very lucky to have him!

HO HO HO

My mother-in-law loves to go to craft shows, and the past two weekends she has let me tag along. I got some really cute Christmas decorations. I was looking for some cute stocking holders but haven't been able to find any that I like, so I decided to make my own. I wish I took before and after pictures...I think they turned out pretty cute! When I started they were solid wood with the hook, and that was it.

Jacob's Crib

Thanks to Grandma and Grandpa Davis, Jacob finally got a crib. Yay! Shannon and I put it together and we think it looks pretty good. It's definitely a lot bigger than the pack 'n play! We think the mattress will be much more comfortable too.

Family Home Evening

This past Monday for FHE we did a craft. It was so much fun! I love doing paper crafts, and with Matt's help it was even better. We made a Christmas Advent calendar. We can't take all the credit, we did get the idea from someone else.

The numbers are on little tins, so you can fill them with candy! It was so fun I wait to put it out for Christmas!

If you want to make one yourself, HERE is the website with the tutorial.

Halloween

Ok so here they are - our Halloween pictures! We had so much fun on Halloween. First we went to Grandma's house and went trick-or-treating with uncle Brigham. It was so cute! They had a little wagon with seats, so Matt pulled them all over the neighborhood. We couldn't wait to go through Jacob's candy to see what he got! And yes, Jacob was allowed join in on the candy fun. I let him have a lollipop (but only for a picture). Matt told me he let Jacob hold a Twix and a Kit-Kat while they were out in the wagon to keep him entertained. Jacob drooled on the Twix so much that he manged to get it open and get chocolate all over his face. After trick-or-treating we went to a party at a friend's house and ate lots of yummy food. The night was a lot of fun and all our costumes turned out really cute! In case you can't figure it out, Matt was a referee, Jacob was an ASU football player, and I wore one of my old cheer uniforms.
